RRB JE Selection Process 2026
The RRB JE Recruitment process will include the following stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Stage I
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Stage II
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
CBT-I
- Exam Duration: 90 minutes
- For candidates eligible for a scribe: 120 minutes
- Total Questions: 100
- Total Marks: 100
- Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deducted for every incorrect answer.
- Purpose: CBT-I is a screening test for shortlisting candidates for CBT-II.
- Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted based on normalized marks and merit.
- Question Level: Questions are generally based on the prescribed educational/minimum technical qualifications.
