RRB NTPC Result 2026
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) organized the NTPC CBT 1 examination for a total of 8,868 vacancies under two separate employment notifications. These include CEN 06/2025 for Graduate Level posts comprising 5,810 vacancies and CEN 07/2025 for Undergraduate Level posts comprising 3,058 vacancies.
The CBT 1 examination for Graduate Level candidates was conducted from 16 March to 27 March 2026 across various centers nationwide. More than 40 lakh candidates participated in the examination. The Graduate Level CBT 1 result has been officially released on 11 June 2026. Meanwhile, the Undergraduate Level examination is scheduled between 7 May and 21 June 2026.
RRB publishes the CBT 1 results in PDF format containing the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates. Alongside the result PDF, category-wise cut-off marks and individual scorecards are also released. Candidates qualifying in CBT 1 will become eligible for the CBT 2 examination stage.
The individual scorecard can be accessed separately through candidate login using the Registration Number and Date of Birth.

RRB NTPC CBT 1 Result Information
For both Graduate and Undergraduate categories, RRB releases the CBT 1 result through a PDF file available on regional RRB websites. The PDF contains the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the next stage.
Candidates can simply open the PDF and use the search feature (Ctrl+F) to locate their roll number.
Apart from the result PDF, RRB also publishes scorecards for all candidates. The scorecard includes:

- Overall Score

RRB NTPC CBT 1 Minimum Qualifying Marks
The CBT 1 examination serves as a screening test for shortlisting candidates to CBT 2. Marks obtained in CBT 1 are not considered for final merit preparation.

RRB NTPC Normalization Process
As CBT examinations are conducted in multiple shifts and days, the difficulty level of question papers may differ. To ensure fairness, RRB follows the Equi-Percentile Normalization Method.
Through this process, candidates receive normalized scores instead of raw marks. Therefore, the final marks shown in the scorecard may differ from the marks calculated using the answer key.

How to Download RRB NTPC Scorecard?
Candidates can download their scorecard by following these steps:

- Click on the CBT 1 Scorecard link.
- Enter Registration Number and Date of Birth.
- Submit the login details.
- View your scorecard displaying raw marks and normalized marks.
- Download and save the scorecard.
Important: The scorecard remains available only for a limited period. Candidates are advised to download it immediately after release.
RRB NTPC Answer Key 2026
Before announcing the result, RRB publishes the provisional answer key and response sheet. For Graduate Level CBT 1 (CEN 06/2025), the answer key was released on 6 April 2026.
Candidates were allowed to:
- Download their response sheet
- Review the answer key
- Raise objections against incorrect answers
- Pay ₹50 per objection
If an objection is found valid, the objection fee is refunded. After reviewing all challenges, RRB publishes the final answer key and prepares the result accordingly.
