BTC Result 2025 - Forest Guard & Forester I Written Result Out

BTC Result 2025: The Central Selection Board (CSB), Bodoland Territorial Council, declared the written examination results for Forester I and Forest Guard vacancies on 9th June 2025. These examinations, held for a total of 414 vacancies, took place on 8th December 2024 (Forester I) and 15th December 2024 (Forest Guard). Candidates who have been provisionally qualified in the written examination will now be required to appear for a Physical Fitness Test. The dates for these Physical Tests for both Forester-I and Forest Guard posts are expected to be announced shortly.

Eligibility Criteria:-

Age Limit:

The Candidates Should Not be less Than 18 Years of Age and Not more than 25 Years of Age as on 31st January 2024. 

• For ST Candidates: 05 Years+

• For SC Candidates: 05 Years+

• For OBC Candidates: 03 Years+

Educational Qualification:

(i) Forester-1: Minimum Bachelor Degree in Any Discipline from a Recognized University or Equivalent.

(ii) Forest Guards: Minimum Class (HS) 12th Passed.

Application Fee:

• General Candidates: Rs. 150/- Rupees.

• OBC Candidates: Rs. 150/- Rupees.

• EWS Candidates: Rs. 150/- Rupees.

• ST Candidates: Rs. 100/- Rupees.

• SC Candidates: Rs. 100/- Rupees.

Payment Mode: Candidates can pay their examination fees through an online payment gateway. Candidates should have any one of the following options to make the online payment – ​​Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI.

Selection Process:

• Written Examination

• Physical Test.

• Document Verification

• Viva-Voce Test

Written Test: The exam will cover General Knowledge, General Mathematics, and English of Higher Secondary standard for Forester-I and HSLC standard for Forest Guard.

Physical Fitness Test: Candidates must cover 26 km for male candidates and 16 km for female candidates within 4 hours. A medical examination will also be conducted.

General Category : Male: 163 Cm. , Female: 150 Cm.

Hills & Plain Tribe Category: Male: 153 Cm. , Female: 145 Cm.

Chest: 

General Category : Normal: 84 Cm - 89 Cm

Hills & Plain Tribe Category: 79 Cm - 84 Cm.

Viva Voce Test: Candidates who qualify in the Written & Physical Fitness Test will have to appear for the Viva Voce Test.
