Eligibility Criteria - of BTC Forest Department Recruitment 2024
AGE LIMIT
The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 25 years of age as on 31st January 2024 i.e.
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as follows:-
(i) By 3 Years for OBC Candidates.(18 to 28)
(ii) By 5 Years for ST Candidates. (18 to 30)
(iii) By 5 Years for SC Candidates. (18 to 30)
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
(i) Forester-1: Minimum Bachelor Degree in Any Discipline from a Recognized University or Equivalent.
(ii) Forest Guards: Minimum Class (HS) 12th Passed.
SALARY
(i) Forester-1: PB-2 Rs.14,000/- To Rs.49,000/- With Grade Pay Rs.6,200/-
(ii) Forest Guards: PB-2 Rs.14,000/- To Rs.49,000/- With Grade Pay Rs.5,600/-

All the Eligible Candidates Applying for the post as mentioned above need to deposit a Treasury Challan to be paid at Kokrajhar Treasury Office or IPO for an Amount of Rs.150/- Rupees Only for General/OBC/MOBC Candidates and Rs.100 Rupees Only for ST/SC Candidates. In Case of Treasury Challan the Challan must be paid in favour of the Principal Secretary BTC, Kokrajhar Payable at Kokrajhar Treasury Office Only Under the Head of Account-8443 Civil Deposit Personal Deposit BTC. The Challan Paid at Kokrajhar Treasury Office Only Will be Accepted. and in Case of IPO must be paid in Favours of the Members Secretary, CSB.Kokrajhar Payable at Kokrajhar Head Post Office.

The selection of BTC Forest Recruitment 2024 will include:

Written Test: The exam will cover General Knowledge, General Mathematics, and English of Higher Secondary standard for Forester-I and HSLC standard for Forest Guard.
