Eligibility Criteria:-
Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Resident-ship:
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency along with the application form.
Small Family Norms: The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying for the post.
Age Limit:
(i) Assistant Architect: The Candidates Should Not be less Than 21 Years of Age and Not more than 38 Years. As on 1st January 2025.
(ii) Junior Engineer (Civil): The Candidates Should Not be less Than 21 Years of Age and Not more than 40 Years. As on 1st January 2025.
- For ST Candidates: 05 Years+
- For SC Candidates: 05 Years+
- For OBC Candidates: 03 Years+

Educational Qualification:
(i) Assistant Architect: Bachelors Degree in Architecture from an Indian or Foreign University recognized by the Government.
(ii) Junior Engineer (Civil):
- Candidate must have 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Civil Engineering & Planning/ Construction Technology from any technical institute recognized by AICTE.
- The Diploma course must be a regular course.
