Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 2.0 – Scheme Overview

Scheme Name: Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 2.0

Type of Scheme: Financial Assistance

Eligibility Criteria for CMAAA 2.0

Residency: Applicants must be permanent residents of Assam.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 28 and 45 years old as of 1st April 2025.

Educational Qualification: A minimum qualification of Class 10 is required. Applicants from OBC, SC, and ST communities must have completed at least Class 10 to meet the eligibility criteria.

Skill Qualification: Applicants should possess relevant skills or certifications (such as ITI or Diploma programs) required for engaging in income-generating activities.

Bank Account: A valid bank account opened before 1st April 2024 is mandatory.

Loan Defaults: The applicant must have no prior loan defaults with Co-operative or Nationalized 

Banks.

Government Employment: Applicants should not belong to families with government employees or pensioners.

Income Criteria: Only individuals under the BPL (Below Poverty Line) category are eligible.

Family Participation: Only one member per family can apply for this scheme.

Employment Exchange Registration: The applicant must hold valid registration with the Employment Exchange.
