(i) Scientific Officer (Directorate of Forensic Science, Guwahati, Assam)

• Drugs & Narcotics Division: M.Sc. in Chemistry or M.Sc. in Forensic Science with specialization in the relevant subject.
• Toxicology Division: M.Sc. in Chemistry or M.Sc. in Forensic Science with specialization in the relevant subject.
• Biology Division: M.Sc. in Botany, Zoology, Anthropology (Physical), Biotechnology, or Forensic Science with specialization in the relevant subject.

(ii) Scientific Officer (Regional Forensic Science Laboratories)

• Biology Division: M.Sc. in Botany, Zoology, Anthropology (Physical), Biotechnology, or Forensic Science with specialization in the relevant subject.
• Instrumentation Division: M.Sc. in Physics with Electronics, M.Sc. in Electronics, M.Sc. in Instrumentation, or M.Sc. in Forensic Science with specialization in the relevant subject.
