Nationality/ Citizenship: Candidates must be citizens of India.
Age- Limit : Age Limit: 21- 30 years as on 01-07-2022. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02-07-1992 and not later than 01-07-2001.
The relaxations admissible in upper age limit for different categories are as under:
# ST/ SC Candidates : + 05 Years
# OBC Candidates : + 03 Years
# Ex-Servicemen Candidates : 03 years after deduction of military service rendered from Actual age as on date of Calculation.
Educational Qualification :
a) 10+2 (Senior Secondary) passed or equivalent from a recognized Board (as on
29.07.2022 i.e. the closing date of receipt of online application).
b) Should be able to drive heavy vehicles with confidence.
c) Valid driving license for Heavy Motor Vehicles (as on closing date of receipt of online
application).
d) Possess knowledge of maintenance of vehicles.
Application fee and mode of payment:
Fee payable: ₹ 100/- (Rupees One hundred only).
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Exservicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
Delhi Police Constable Driver Physical Standard
The Minimum Requirement as per the Category & Gender has been tabulated Below-
Height :
(i) 170 Cm : Category Other Than as Given Below.
(ii) 165 Cm : For residents of Hill areas i.e. Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Leh & Ladakh. and For ST candidates and sons of either serving, retired or deceased Delhi Police personnel/Multi-Tasking Staff of Delhi Police.
Chest : 81- 85 (Minimum 4 cms expansion : 5 cms relaxation for residents of Hill areas as listed above, ST, and for sons of either serving, retired or deceased Delhi Police personnel/Multi-Tasking Staff of Delhi Police.
Delhi Police Driver Physical Endurance Requirements
The Physical Endurance for their eligibility for the post of Delhi Police Constable (Driver) will be done through their performances as per the following parameters.
Age, Race 1600 Meters, Long jump, High jump For Males
# Up to 30 years : 1600 Meters : 7 Minutes, Long jump : 12.5 Feet , High jump : 3.5 Feet
# Above 30 to 40 years : 1600 Meters 8 Minutes, Long jump : 11.5 Feet, High jump : 3.25 Feet.
# Above 40 years : 1600 Meters : 9 Minutes, Long jump :10.5 Feet, High jump : 3 Feet
