Assam Police APRO Written Test Admit Card 2023 : State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 540 Constable vacancy in Assam Police Radio Organization (APRO) and Assam Commando Battalion. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online here.
The Government of Assam has approved 70 posts of Constable (WO/WT/CY) for the newly created Assam Commando Battalion. These newly sanctioned 70 posts will be combined with the already advertised 441 posts of constable (WO/WT/ OPR) as the essential qualification and other criteria are same for both the posts.
However, candidates who had earlier applied for the posts of Constable (WO/ WT/ OPR) against the advertisement dated 15 February 2022 need not apply again and the fresh posts of Constable (WO/ WT/ OPR) on their candidature need not apply again. Approved 70 posts will be considered. CY) also for the Assam Commando Battalion.
This is for the information for all the candidates who have applied and qualified for written test for the posts mentioned above that the combined Written Test shall be held on 29/01/2023 from 10 AM. to 11:15 AM. in the following centers of Kamrup (Metro) District.
1. Pragjyotish College, Guwahati. Address: Santipur, Bharalumukh, Guwahati- 781009, Kamrup (M). 2. Nichols Higher Secondary School. Address: Satribari, K.C. Road, Guwahati- 781008, Kamrup (M). Concerned candidates will be able to download their Admit Card for appearing in the written test, through the SLPRB website (www.slprbassam.in) by logging in to the online portal from 11 A.M. of 20-01-2023.

Other Criteria for APRO Recruitment 2022
Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian citizen, must be a permanent resident of Assam. Selected candidates will have to produce proof of residence / domicile certificate after the publication of final selection list. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/ MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates.
Employment Exchange Registration Certificate: Candidates have to register their name with the local employment office in Assam.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak fluent Assamese or any other state language.
Age Limit: Candidates age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years as on 1st January 2022 (i.e., candidate should be born on or before 01/01/2004 and born on or after 01/01/1997) .
Age Relaxation: Category wise age relaxation is given below
#SC/ST: 5 years
#OBC/MOBC: 3 years
# Trained Home Guard : 3 Years
