RBI Office Attendant Notification 2026
The Reserve Bank of India invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Office Attendant. The recruitment aims to fill 572 posts in various RBI regional offices. Candidates must ensure they satisfy all eligibility conditions before applying, as applications of ineligible candidates will be rejected at any stage.

Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Class 10 (S.S.C./Matriculation) from a recognized board of the State/UT under the jurisdiction of the RBI recruiting office they are applying to.
- The qualification must be valid as on 1 January 2026.
Important Eligibility Condition
Candidates must be undergraduates as on 1 January 2026.
Graduates or candidates with higher qualifications are NOT eligible to apply.
Language Proficiency Requirement
Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the official/local language of the State/UT of the RBI office they are applying for. Failure to meet this requirement will lead to disqualification during the Language Proficiency Test.
Age Limit (as on 1 January 2026)

RBI Office Attendant Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of two stages:
1. Online Examination
Subjects:
- Reasoning
- General English
- General Awareness
- Numerical Ability
Total Marks: 120
Duration: 90 Minutes
Negative Marking: ¼ mark deducted for each wrong answer
2. Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
- Conducted in the local/official language of the State concerned.
- Qualifying in nature.
- Candidates failing the LPT will be disqualified, even if they clear the online test.
