About Jibon Prerana Scheme Assam 2025
The Government of Assam has launched the CM’s Jibon Prerana Scheme Assam 2025 under the Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department to support eligible students who have completed their graduation from recognized universities or colleges in Assam.
This initiative aims to encourage higher education, promote research, and provide financial support to meritorious graduates who are pursuing or planning to pursue higher studies (Postgraduate or Ph.D.).
Under this scheme:
- Graduate Complete Students will receive ₹2,500 per month for one year, totaling ₹25,000 (one-time payment after 1 year).
- Differently-abled (Divyang) students will receive ₹40,000 as one-time financial assistance.
The amount will be directly credited to the beneficiary’s bank account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

Eligibility Criteria
To apply under the CM’s Jibon Prerana Scheme Assam 2025, applicants must fulfill the following conditions:
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- Must have completed graduation (Bachelor’s Degree) from a recognized college or university in Assam.
- Must be a full-time graduate complete student (not a distance learner).
- Must be unemployed at the time of application.
- Must have a bank account linked with Aadhaar.
- Divyang applicants must provide valid disability proof.
- Should not have received any other government scholarship of similar value.
