LIC AAO Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are interested in Applying for LIC AAO Recruitment 2025 must ensure that full-fill the required Eligibility Criteria. Below are the complete Details regarding Age limit, Educational Qualification, Application Fees and Selection process.
LIC AAO Age Limit:
(i) AAO (CA & Legal): The minimum age limit required is 21 Years, and the Maximum age allowed 32 Years as on 1st August 2025.
(ii) Generalist, AE, CS, Actuarial, Insurance Specialist: The minimum age limit required is 21 Years, and the Maximum age allowed 30 Years as on 1st August 2025.
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 3 Years+
- Scheduled Trade (ST): 5 Years+
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 5 Years+
- PwBD Candidate: 10 Years+
LIC AAO Educational Qualification:
AE (Civil): B.Tech/B.E. (Civil) from an AICTE recognized institution. A minimum of three years of post-qualification work experience is required.
AE (Electrical): B.Tech/B.E. (Electrical) from an AICTE recognized institution. A minimum of three years of post-qualification work experience is required.
AAO (Chartered Accountant): Bachelor’s Degree and must have passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and be an Associate member of the institute.
AAO (Legal): Bachelor’s degree in Law with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD). Essential experience includes being enrolled with the Bar Council as an Advocate and at least two years of relevant experience.
AAO (Company Secretary): Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university and must be a Qualified Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
AAO (Generalist): Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution.
AAO (Actuarial): Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Candidates must have passed at least 6 papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.
AAO (Insurance Specialist): Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and a professional qualification of Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India (Life), with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in a Life Insurance Company.
LIC AAO Application Fee:
The category-wise Fee structure for the LIC AAO Online Application is given below. LIC AAO 2025 Selection Process
The recruitment process will be conducted in three stages – Phase I (Preliminary Examination), Phase II (Main Examination), and Phase III (Interview) – followed by a Pre-Recruitment Medical Test. The exam pattern may differ depending on the post.
For AAO (Generalist):
Phase I: Preliminary Exam (No Negative Marking)

Phase II: Main Exam (No Negative Marking)

Guarantee Bond:
