Assam VFA Admission 2025 Vacancy Details
Course Name: Veterinary Field Assistant Training Course.

Duration: One Year✅ Eligibility Criteria
🎯Age-Limit:
The minimum age required is 18 Years, and the Maximum age allowed 30 Years as on 01-01-2025.
Age Relaxation (as per Government Rules):
- Scheduled Tribe (ST): 05 Years+
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 05 Years+
- Other Backward Classes(OBC): 03 Years+
🎓 Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed HSSLC (Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate) in The Science Stream, With Biology as a Compulsory Subject, from a recognized University/Board.

📝 Selection Process VFA Admission:
The selection of candidates for admission into the one-year Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA) Training Course is conducted as per the procedure approved by the Government of Assam. The process includes the following stages:
1. Personnel Assessment Test (PAT) and Weightage Criteria
After thorough scrutiny of all received applications, eligible candidates are invited to appear for the Personnel Assessment Test (PAT), which carries a total of 100 marks. The final score is calculated based on the following weightage distribution:
- Marks obtained in HSSLC (Science stream with Biology): 40%
- Marks obtained in HSLC: 20%
- Marks secured in the PAT: 40%
3. Preparation of Final Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared by combining the marks obtained from:
- HSSLC (Science with Biology)
- HSLC
- PAT
This is subject to adherence to the prevailing reservation policy.
