Assam TET Result 2025
The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Assam successfully conducted the TET cum Recruitment Test 2024 on 19th January 2025. This recruitment test was held for the appointment of 1487 Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) and 8230 Graduate Teachers (GT) across various subjects including Arts, Science, Hindi, and Sanskrit.
Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results and download their marksheets from the official website of DSE Assam. The official result declaration date is 30th May 2025 at 11:00 AM.
For Post Graduate Teacher (Paper II) posts, both the TET exam marks and weightage marks will be available for download from the mentioned date and time. A separate notice will be issued soon regarding the results for Graduate Teacher (Paper I) posts.

Assam TET Result Date 2025
The Assam TET cum Recruitment Test 2024 was held on 19th January 2025 for filling up Graduate and Post Graduate Teacher posts. Candidates can download their TET scorecard and weightage marks for PGT posts from 11:00 AM on 30th May 2025 via the DSE Assam official website.
An online objection portal was made live from 4th to 20th February 2025 for candidates to challenge any discrepancies in the answer key. A fee of ₹500/- per question was applicable, which would be refunded if the challenge was found valid by the expert committee.
Additionally, soft copies of all six sets of question papers and their answer keys were published on 4th February 2025 on the official website.
Assam TET Merit List Preparation Process
The merit list for the Graduate and Post Graduate Teacher positions will be prepared using the following guidelines:
- Qualified Candidates Ratio: The number of qualified candidates will match the 1:1 ratio of advertised vacancies.
- Multiple Merit Lists: If vacancies remain after the first merit list, up to two additional merit lists may be published.
- Subject-wise Lists: Separate merit lists will be prepared for each subject in the case of PGT.
- Merit List Criteria: Marks obtained in the TET cum Recruitment Test will be filtered subject-wise to prepare individual merit lists.
