Assam D.El.Ed Admission 2025: The official notification for admission into the 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Course for the session 2025 - 2027 has been released by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam. Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply online for the Pre-Entry Test (PET) - 2025 in order to be considered for admission to this course.
The course will be held in NCTE recognized Teacher Education Institutes (DIET/ CTE/ Normal School/ BTC/ Pvt. TEIs) in the state for the academic years 2025 - 2027.

Eligibility Criteria:-
Age Limit:
The Candidates Should Not be less Than 18 Years of Age and Not more than 34 Years. As on 1st July 2025.

- For SC Candidates: 02 Years+

Educational Qualification:
The candidate must have achieved a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in their Higher Secondary (+2) or equivalent examination from recognized Boards/Councils, excluding marks obtained in extra/optional/fourth subjects.
Candidates from SC/ST/ST(H) category will receive a 5% relaxation in aggregate marks.
Application Fee:
- General Candidates: Rs. 600/- Rupees.
- OBC Candidates: Rs. 600/- Rupees.
- EWS Candidates: Rs. 600/- Rupees.
- ST Candidates: Rs. 600/- Rupees.
- SC Candidates: Rs. 600/- Rupees.
Payment Mode: Candidates can pay their examination fees through an online payment gateway. Candidates should have any one of the following options to make the online payment – Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI.
Residency Requirement: Only candidates who are permanent residents of Assam are eligible to apply for this course.
Seat Reservation: Seats will be reserved for candidates from reserved categories such as OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/Person With Disability (PWD) according to government guidelines.
Admit Card Information: Candidates can download their SCERT Assam D.El.Ed PET Admit Card from the website https://scertpet.co.in starting from 5th July 2025 by entering their Application Number and Date of Birth used during online application submission.
PET Venue: The Pre-Entry Test (PET) 2025 will take place in the district selected by candidates during online application submission, as indicated on their ADMIT card. Selected candidates will be allocated seats in Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs) in the chosen district for the PET-2025.

D.El.Ed Syllabus Pre-Entry Test (PET)
Candidates aspiring to take up teaching as a profession at elementary level may apply to appear in the Pre-Entry Test (PET) – 2025 for admission into 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) course. Here we will provide the question pattern, syllabus and all other details about PET 2025.
