UPSC NDA Admit Card 2026 Released – Download NDA/NA (I) Hall Ticket

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the UPSC NDA Admit Card 2026 for the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (I). Candidates who have applied can now download their e-Admit Card from the official portal.

The written examination is scheduled to be conducted on 12 April 2026 (Sunday) at various centres across India. Candidates must note that no physical admit card will be sent by post, and it is mandatory to download and print the admit card before the exam.

UPSC NDA Admit Card 2026

The Union Public Service Commission has issued the e-Admit Card for candidates applying to 394 vacancies in the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Naval Academy.

Candidates must download their admit card online and carry a printed copy to the examination centre. Entry without a valid admit card will not be allowed under any circumstances.

What to Carry on Exam Day

Candidates must bring the following items:

  • Printed copy of the e-Admit Card
  • Valid Photo ID Proof (same as mentioned in the admit card)
  • Black Ball Point Pen (for OMR sheet)

If the photograph on the admit card is unclear, candidates should carry:

  • A valid ID proof
  • Two passport-size photographs (with name and date printed)

Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly not allowed inside the exam hall:

  • Mobile phones (even switched off)
  • Smartwatches / Digital watches
  • Electronic gadgets
  • Bags, books, or notes

No storage facility will be provided at the exam centre.

Gate Closing Time

  • Morning Session: Entry closes at 9:30 AM
  • Afternoon Session: Entry closes at 1:30 PM

Late entry will not be permitted under any circumstances.

Step-7: Download the Admit Card PDF and take a printout

UPSC NDA Selection Process 2026

The selection process for the NDA & NA Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission consists of two main stages:

1. Written Examination

  • All questions will be objective type (MCQs)
  • The question papers for Mathematics and General Ability Test (Part B) will be available in both English and Hindi
  • Candidates must qualify in the written exam to move to the next stage

2. SSB Interview (Intelligence & Personality Test)

  • Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for the SSB Interview
  • This stage evaluates personality, intelligence, leadership, and communication skills
  • Final selection is based on combined performance in Written Exam + SSB Interview
