What to Carry on Exam Day
Candidates must bring the following items:

- Valid Photo ID Proof (same as mentioned in the admit card)
- Black Ball Point Pen (for OMR sheet)

- A valid ID proof
- Two passport-size photographs (with name and date printed)
Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly not allowed inside the exam hall:
- Mobile phones (even switched off)
- Smartwatches / Digital watches
- Electronic gadgets
- Bags, books, or notes
No storage facility will be provided at the exam centre.
Gate Closing Time

UPSC NDA Selection Process 2026
The selection process for the NDA & NA Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission consists of two main stages:
1. Written Examination
- All questions will be objective type (MCQs)
- The question papers for Mathematics and General Ability Test (Part B) will be available in both English and Hindi
- Candidates must qualify in the written exam to move to the next stage
2. SSB Interview (Intelligence & Personality Test)
- Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for the SSB Interview
- This stage evaluates personality, intelligence, leadership, and communication skills
- Final selection is based on combined performance in Written Exam + SSB Interview
