Eligibility Criteria:-

Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must be registered themselves in any of the employment exchanges of Assam.

Small Family Norms: The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying for the post.

Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

Residentship:

(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.

(ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency along with the online application form.  

Age Limit:

The Candidates Should Not be less Than 21 Years of Age and Not more than 38 Years. As on 1st January 2025.

Educational Qualification:

The essential qualification for the post of Fisheries Development Officer (FDO) is Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) degree from any institution recognized by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
