Nagaon Medical College Recruitment 2024 Vacancy Details

1. Name of the Post: Laboratory Technician

Remuneration: Rs. 20,000.00 + HRA only per month.

2. Name of the Post: Scientist B Non-Medical

Eligibility Criteria:-

Age Limit:

(i) Scientist B (Medical): The Candidates Should Not be less Than 17 Years of Age and Not more than 21 Years of Age as on 1st January 2024. 

(ii) Scientist B (Non-Medical): The Candidates Should Not be less Than 17 Years of Age and Not more than 21 Years of Age as on 1st January 2024. 

(iii) Research Assistant: The Candidates Should Not be less Than 17 Years of Age and Not more than 21 Years of Age as on 1st January 2024. 

(iv) Laboratory Technician: The Candidates Should Not be less Than 17 Years of Age and Not more than 21 Years of Age as on 1st January 2024. 

• For ST Candidates: 05 Years+

• For SC Candidates: 05 Years+

• For OBC Candidates: 03 Years+

Educational Qualification:

(i) Scientist B (Medical): MD/DNB Microbiology from MCI recognized Medical college/institute OR MBBS/B.V.Sc from MCI/VCI recognized Medical college/institute with 2 years research experience.

Desirable: Experience in ICMR/DHR/IDSP/CSIR/DBT/any other project/Medical college. Experience in Virology Laboratory is preferred. Knowledge management. of computer application/data management.

(ii) Scientist B (Non-Medical): M.Sc (Medical Microbiology/ Virology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/Life Sciences) from recognized university.

Desirable: Ph.D.(Medical Microbiology/ Virology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Life Sciences) shall be counted as two years research experience. Experience in ICMR/DHR/IDSP/CSIR/DBT/any other project/Medical college. Experience in Virology Laboratory is preferred. Knowledge of computer application/data management.

(iii) Research Assistant: M.Sc(Medical Microbiology/ Virology/Microbiology/ Biotechnology /Molecular Biology/ Life Sciences) from recognized university.

Desirable: Experience in ICMR/DHR/IDSP/CSIR/DBT/any other project/Medical college. Knowledge of computer application/data management.

(iv) Laboratory Technician: B.Sc.(MLT) from recognized university (Registered) OR Diploma MLT from recognized university (registered) with 3 years lab experience.

Desirable: The candidate having experience in Govt. institutions in ICMR/ DHR/ IDSP/ CSIR/ DBT/ any other project/Medical college with at least 2 years work experience in Virology Laboratory. Knowledge of computer application/data management.
