The Food Corporation of India (FCI) conducts the FCI Exam every year for recruiting eligible candidates at its various offices set up all across the country. Food Corporation of India (FCI) is one of the largest Public Sector undertakings that deals with food grain and supply chain management. Established on 14th January 1965 with its first district office in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, the Food Corporation of India has been managing various depots and private equity godowns all across the country. Manager (General):
- The candidates must be a Graduate degree or equivalent from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or
- CA/ICWA/CS
Manager (Depot):
- The candidates must be a Graduate degree or equivalent from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or
- CA/ICWA/CS
Manager (Movement):
- The candidates must be a Graduate degree or equivalent from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or

Manager (Accounts):
- Associate Membership of a) The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India; or b) The Institute of Cost Accountants of India; or c) The Institute of Company Secretaries of India OR
- B.Com from a recognized University AND
- Post Graduate Full-time MBA (Fin) Degree / Diploma of minimum 2 years recognized by UGC / AICTE;
- B.Sc. in Agriculture from a recognized University. OR
- B.Tech degree or B.E degree in Food Science from a recognized University/ an institution approved by the AICTE;
- Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a Recognized University or equivalent.
- Master’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi with English as a subject at the Degree level. AND
- 5 years’ experience of terminological work in Hindi and/or translation work from English to Hindi or vice-versa preferably of technical or scientific literature.
- Candidate must have graduation in Civil Engineering / Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an any recognized university / Institution. OR
- Diploma in Civil Engineering / Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a any recognized university / Institution and 1-Year Relevant experience.
- Graduate along with “O” level qualification of DOEACC and speed of 40 w.p.m. and 80 w.p.m. in typing and shorthand respectively or Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application with speed of 40 w.p.m. and 80 w.p.m. in typing and shorthand respectively.
- A degree of a recognized University with Hindi as the main subject. Proficiency in English.
- One-year experience of translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa.
- Candidate must have Graduation or equivalent qualification and 30 W.P.M speed in Hindi Typing.
- The candidates should have passed Graduation in any subject from the recognized institutes of India.
- The candidates should have passed a Graduate degree in Commerce from a recognised university in India
- Candidates must have a Graduate degree either in Agriculture or Botany / Bio-Technology / Zoology / Microbiology / Biochemistry / Food science. OR
- Those candidates who have B. Tech/ B.E. degree in Food Science and Technology / Biotechnology / Food Science from any recognized University or any institution but that should be approved by All India Council for Technical Education are also eligible.

FCI Exam Pattern 2025
- In Phase-I, the test will be Objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).
- Each question will carry an equal 1 (one) mark.
- For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of one-fourth (1/4) of the mark assigned to that question.
- If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no negative marking for that question.
- The marks obtained in Phase-I will NOT be reckoned in the final merit ranking
