Eligibility Criteria:-

Age Limit:

The Candidates Should Not be less Than 18 Years of Age and Not more than 25 Years of Age as on 31st January 2024. 

• For ST Candidates: 05 Years+

• For SC Candidates: 05 Years+

• For OBC Candidates: 03 Years+

Educational Qualification:

(i) Forester-1: Minimum Bachelor Degree in Any Discipline from a Recognized University or Equivalent.

(ii) Forest Guards: Minimum Class (HS) 12th Passed.

Application Fee:

• General Candidates: Rs. 150/- Rupees.

• OBC Candidates: Rs. 150/- Rupees.

• EWS Candidates: Rs. 150/- Rupees.

• ST Candidates: Rs. 100/- Rupees.

• SC Candidates: Rs. 100/- Rupees.

Payment Mode: Candidates can pay their examination fees through an online payment gateway. Candidates should have any one of the following options to make the online payment – ​​Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI.

Selection Process:

• Written Examination

• Physical Test.

• Document Verification

• Viva-Voce Test

Written Test: The exam will cover General Knowledge, General Mathematics, and English of Higher Secondary standard for Forester-I and HSLC standard for Forest Guard.

Physical Fitness Test: Candidates must cover 26 km for male candidates and 16 km for female candidates within 4 hours. A medical examination will also be conducted.

Physical Standard Test: 

Height

General Category : Male: 163 Cm. , Female: 150 Cm.

Hills & Plain Tribe Category: Male: 153 Cm. , Female: 145 Cm.

Chest: 

General Category : Normal: 84 Cm - 89 Cm

Hills & Plain Tribe Category: 79 Cm - 84 Cm.

Viva Voce Test: Candidates who qualify in the Written & Physical Fitness Test will have to appear for the Viva Voce Test.

PFT Schedule and Venue

Both tests will be conducted at the same location but on different dates.

• Venue: The 7th APBn. Playground, Choraikholia, Kokrajhar

• Reporting Time: 5:00 AM (for both posts)

• Date for Forester-I: 10 July 2025

• Date for Forest Guard: 11 July 2025
