GMC Recruitment 2024 Vacancy Details

Name of the Post: Assistant Sanitary Inspector (ASI)

No. of Post: 15 Posts

Remuneration: Rs. 17,000/- Per Month.

Engagement Period: The engagement will be on contractual basis for a period of 11 months only. Based on performance and requirement of GMC, contract may further be extended if their services are required further.

Eligibility Criteria:-

Age Limit:

The Candidates Should Not be less Than 18 Years of Age and Not more than 30 Years of Age as on 1st January 2024. 

Nationality: Candidates Must be Native Citizen of Assam.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should be a Graduate with Chemistry/ Biology as one of the subjects in Intermediate/ Class 10+2 level/ Higher Secondary.

OR

Candidates must have completed Intermediate/ Class 10+2 with Chemistry/ Biology as one of the subject and Diploma in Sanitary Inspector/ Public Health/ Solid Waste Management from an Institute recognized by the Government of India. 

Preference: Candidates with a bachelor's Degree in fields related to Environmental Science/ Public Health/ Sanitation/ Solid Waste Management.

# Candidates who fulfill the criteria need to drop in their applications at the drop box in the Office of the Guwahati Municipal Corporation, Personnel Branch, 2nd Floor, Uzanbazar, Guwahati-781001.

# Candidates shall bring original documents/ certificates at the interview for verification, failing which they shall not be allowed to appear. Candidates are required to bring PAN Card or any Valid ID and/ or address proof at the interview.

# The last date of submission of applications will be till 14th November 2024 .
