Territorial Army Zone-wise States Details
There are zonal divisions and recruitment is zonal based.
Zone I: Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Delhi, and Chandigarh.
Zone II: Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, and Uttarakhand.
Zone III: Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Nagaland, Sikkim, West Bengal, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Zone IV: Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Lakshdweep, and Pondicherry.
Eligibility Criteria:-
Age Limit:
The Candidates Should Not be less Than 18 Years of Age and Not more than 42 Years as on date of Recruitment.
Educational Qualification:
(i) Soldier General Duty (GD): Class 10th Pass With 45% Marks in Aggregate and 33% in Each Subject. For Boards Following Grading sys min of D Grade (33 - 40) in Andividual Subject or Grade Which Contain 33% and Overall Aggregate of C2 Grade.
(ii) Soldier Clerk: Class 12th Pass / Intermediate Exam Pass in Any Stream (Arts/Science/Commerce) with 50% in each Subject Securing 50% in English and Maths / Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class 12th is Mandatory.
(iii) Soldier Tradesman (All Tradesman Except House keeper & Mess Keeper): Class 10th Pass With No Stipulation in Aggregate Percentage But Should have Scored min 33% in Each Subject.
(iv) Soldier Tradesman (House keeper & Mess Keeper): Class 8th Pass With No Stipulation in Aggregate Percentage But Should have Scored min 33% in Each Subject.

(a) Height: 160 Cms (157 Cms in Case of Domicile of Eastern Himalayan Region { Assam, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Sikkim, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya and Hill Region of West Bengal (Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts)}.
(b) Chest: 77 Cms Normal (82 Cms Expanded)
(c) Weight: Proportionate to Height and Age as Per Army Medical Standard.
