The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the Class 10 Phase 1 board exam results on 15 April 2026. The examinations were conducted between 17 February and 11 March 2026 at 8,075 centres across the country, covering a total of 83 subjects. Approximately 24,12,072 students registered for this major examination.

In a significant change this year, CBSE introduced a two-phase board examination system for Class 10 students for the first time. According to this new system, students who are not satisfied with their Phase 1 results will have an opportunity to reappear in Phase 2 exams, scheduled from 15 May to 1 June 2026. Candidates can opt for improvement in up to three subjects, providing them with a valuable second chance to enhance their scores without losing an academic year.
