Oil India Limited Recruitment 2023 - Vacancy Details
Eligibility Criteria - of Oil India Limited Recruitment 2023
AGE LIMIT
(i) Contractual Drilling / Workover Operator: The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 45 years.
(ii) Contractual Drilling / Workover Mechanic: The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years.
(iii) Contractual Drilling / Workover Assistant Operator: The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years.
(iv) Contractual Drilling / Workover Assistant Mechanic: The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years.
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as follows:-
(i) By 3 Years for OBC/NCL Candidates.
(ii) By 5 Years for ST Candidates.
(iii) By 5 Years for SC Candidates.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
(A) Contractual Drilling / Workover Operator:
(i) Successfully completed Class 10 from a government-recognized education board.
(ii) Completed a three-year diploma in any engineering discipline from a government-recognized polytechnic.
(iii) Possess at least two years of work experience in drilling and workover activities, including operating brakes during workover operations, raising and lowering workover masts, and performing rig floor operations such as handling and lowering BHA and tubular tripping in/out.
OR
(i) Holds a Bachelor's degree in a science stream from a government-recognized university.
(ii) Has a minimum of two years of work experience in drilling and workover activities, including operating brakes during workover operations, raising and lowering workover masts, and performing rig floor operations such as handling and lowering BHA and tubular tripping in/out.
OR
(i) The applicant must have successfully completed Class 10 from an officially recognized education board.
(ii) The applicant must possess a trade certificate in any of the following trades: Diesel Mechanic, Fitter, Electrician, Turner, Welder, Motor Mechanic, or Machinist. The certificate must have been obtained from a government recognized institute.
(iii) The applicant must have a minimum of five years of work experience in drilling and workover activities. This includes experience in drilling and workover operations, ability to operate the brake during workover operations, rig down and rig up operations, raising and lowering of workover mast, and rig floor operations such as making and lowering BHA (Bottom Hole Assembly), tripping in/tripping out tubular, etc.
(B) Contractual Drilling / Workover Mechanic:
(i) Obtained a pass certificate in Class 10 from a government recognized education board.
(ii) Successfully completed a 3-year diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering from a government recognized polytechnic.
(iii) Must possess at least 2 years of work experience after meeting the qualifications, which includes maintenance and operation of engines, pumps, compressors, generating sets, laying and connecting high-pressure lines, etc. in drilling/workover wells within any exploration and production (E&P) company.
(C) Contractual Drilling / Workover Assistant Operator:
(i) The applicant is required to have completed Class 10 from an Education Board recognized by the government.
(ii) Additionally, the applicant must possess a trade certificate in any of the following trades: Diesel Mechanic, Fitter, Electrician, Turner, Welder, Motor Mechanic, or Machinist. The certificate must be from an institute recognized by the government.
(iii) Furthermore, the applicant should have a minimum of 02 years of work experience in drilling/workover activities such as rig floor operations (e.g., making and lowering BHA) and double and thribble board operations (e.g., tripping in/tripping out tubular).
(D) Contractual Drilling / Workover Assistant Mechanic:
(i) The candidate should have successfully completed Class 10 from a government recognized education board.
(ii) The candidate should possess a trade certificate in Diesel Mechanic Trade from a government recognized institute.
(iii) The candidate must have a minimum of 02 (Two) years of relevant work experience after qualification, which includes maintenance and operation of engines, pumps, compressors, generating sets, as well as laying and connecting high-pressure lines in drilling/workover wells in any E&P company.

2. Original and self-attested photocopies of the following documents/certificates/testimonials:

- Valid Address Proof issued by a competent Government Authority.
- The necessary documents for application include the Admit Card, Marksheet, and Pass Certificate of Class 10 issued by the recognized Education Board. Additionally, candidates must provide relevant documents such as essential qualification certificates, work experience certificates, and valid caste certificates (if applicable) from the Competent Government Authority. Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, Income and Asset Certificate for Economically Weaker Sections, and Disability Certificate should be provided, if applicable. Ex-Servicemen must submit their valid Discharge Book/Service and Release Certificate. Lastly, any other documents or testimonials from a Competent Authority may also be required to support the candidature.
3. If the applicant is currently employed, they must present the original No-Objection Certificate from their employer.
