Eligibility Criteria - of Eastern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2023
AGE LIMIT
The candidates should not be less than 15 years of age and not more than 24 years of age as on 26/10/2023.
AGE RELAXATION: Category-wise age relaxation is as follows:-
(i) By 3 Years for OBC/NCL Candidates.
(ii) By 5 Years for ST Candidates.
(iii) By 5 Years for SC Candidates.
(iv) By 10 Years for PWD Candidates.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
The candidates are required to have successfully completed 10th Pass / ITI or an equivalent program from a recognized Board.

SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process will be determined by a merit list that is prepared based on different factors, including the trade, unit, and community. The merit list for each unit will be created by considering the percentage of marks obtained in the matriculation exam (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) and the ITI marks in the trade for which the apprenticeship is being sought. The final ranking will be based on the average of marks obtained in both the matriculation and ITI. The candidates will then undergo document verification as part of the selection process.
