Eligibility Criteria Indian Post Office GDS Recruitment 2023
Age Limit :
The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years of age as on 11/06/2023.
Age Relaxation:The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates,
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates
(iii By 10 years for PWD candidates .

Payment Mode: Pay the Examination Fee Through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking.
Educational Qualification :
- Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard having passed in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India /State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of GDS.
- The applicant should have studied the local language i.e. (Name of Local language) at least up to Secondary standard [as compulsory or elective subjects.
- Other Qualifications: Knowledge of Computers, Knowledge of Cycling, and Adequate means of Livelihood.
Selection Process for Indian Post Office GDS 2023
- The applicants will be shortlisted for engagement on the basis of a system-generated merit list.
- The Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained/ conversion of Grades/Points to marks in the Secondary School Examination of 10th standard of approved Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals.
- Passing all the subjects as per the respective approved board norms is mandatory.

The notification will be released on May 20th 2023, and the dates for the online application forms start from 22th May 2023, and the last date for the online application form is 11th June 2023. The last process of selection includes interviews. The dates are not mentioned for that.
