Eligibility Criteria Air Force Agniveer Recruitment 2023
Age Limit :
The candidates should not be less than 17 ½ years of age and not more than 21 years of age as on 01/01/2023. Candidates born between 26 December 2002 and 26 June 2006 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.
Application Fee :
# General Candidates : 250/- Rupees.
# EWS Candidates : 250/- Rupees.
# OBC Candidates : 250/- Rupees.
# ST Candidates : 250/- Rupees.
# SC Candidates : 250/- Rupees.
Payment Mode: Pay the Examination Fee Through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking.
Educational Qualification :
10+2 Intermediate with Maths, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks. and 50% marks in English.
Or
3 years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma course.
Or
2 Years Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics as Non-Vocational Subjects from Any Recognized Board with 50% Marks in Aggregate and 50% Marks in English.
Other Current Science Subjects Eligibility:
- 10+2 Intermediate with minimum 50% marks and 50% marks in English. Or
- 2 years Vocational Course with minimum 50% aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Mandatory medical standards
- Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cms
- Chest: Minimum limit of expansion: 5 cms
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
- Corneal surgery (PRK/LASIK) is not acceptable. Visual requirements as per Indian Air Force standards.
- Hearing: The hearing of the candidate should be normal i.e. should be able to hear a whisper from a distance of 6 meters separately in each ear.
- Dental: Must have healthy gums, a good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
Agniveer Vayu Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- 1.6 km run to be completed in 06 minutes 30 seconds.
- Candidates will also have to complete 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups and 20 sit-ups within the stipulated time to qualify in the physical fitness test.
