Eligibility Criteria BCPL Recruitment 2023
Age Limit :
The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 28 years of age as on 31/01/2023.
Age Relaxation:The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. Up to 33 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. Up to 31 years
(iii) For Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidate.
Batch: Candidates passed out in the year 2020, 2021 & 2022 are eligible to apply for the above posts. However, engineering graduates/graduates/diploma holders who have already undergone training or have job experience for a period of one year or more after acquiring the essential qualification shall be eligible to be appointed as an apprentice under the Act. will not be eligible.
Educational Qualification :
Graduation Apprentice :
(i) A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in relevant
discipline.
(ii) A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution empowered to grant
such degree by an Act of Parliament in relevant discipline.
(iii) Graduate examination of professional bodies recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
Technician Apprentice :
(i) A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council or Board of
Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.
(ii) A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in relevant discipline.
(iii) A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution recognised by the
State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
