Educational Qualification :
(i) Passed HSLC or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
(ii) Driving license for both heavy (tractor, power tiller etc.) and light vehicles from the appropriate authority (The candidate will have to pass a practical skill test to be conducted by an appropriate committee of the University.
(iii) Two (2) years' experience of driving.
Desirable:
(i) ITI with one year trade certificate in the relevant field,
(ii) Experience of Motor Mechanic work.
2. Post Name : Senior Scientist-Cum-Head

Educational Qualification : Doctorate degree in relevant field of Agriculture/Animal Science/Fisheries/Community Science/Horticulture/Sericulture in the concerned discipline as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension Specialist with 8 years' experience (excluding the period spent on obtaining Ph.D. degree) ) or an equivalent position in the Pay Band 3 of Rs. 15,600/- Rs. 39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/ Rs. 6,000/-, Rs. 7,000/-, Rs. 8,000/- (as per 6th CPC Report) as evidenced by published work/innovations and impact in the form of contribution to research/teaching/extension education.
Desirable: Expertise in implementing Extension Education Programme.
3. Post Name : Programme Assistant (lab. Technician) (T4)

Domicile: Candidates who are permanent residents of Assam should apply for all categories of posts except for the post at Sr. No. 1 only.
Age Limit :
# Senior Scientist-cum-Head: 47 years. However, there is no upper age limit for in service candidates.
# Subject Matter Specialist/ Programme Assistant (Lab. Technician)/ Programme Assistant (Computer)/ Farm Manager: 38 years
# Stenographer Grade —III, Driver & Supporting Staff: 40 years.
Age Relaxation:The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates,
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates
(iii) For Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidate.
