Stenographer Grade-II:
# Bachelor's Degree in English Typing and Shorthand with a speed of 40 WPM and 80 WPM respectively.
Assistant Grade-III (General) :
# Bachelor's degree in any discipline with proficiency in use of computer.
Assistant Grade-III (Accounts) :
# Bachelor of Commerce with Proficiency in use of Computer.
Assistant Grade-III (Technical) :

# Certificate/Diploma course in translation from English to Hindi and vice versa of at least one year duration.
# In view of the fact that the major assignment of Assistant Grade-III (Hindi) would be translation from English to Hindi and vice versa, it would also be necessary to possess skill for Hindi typing.
# To assess this, there will be a test of Hindi Typing at the speed of 30 words per minute during the probationary period. Confirmation of probation will be subject to the candidate passing the prescribed typing test.
