SSC Translator Recruitment 2022- Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: Candidate age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 30 years Candidates born on 01-01-2022 i.e. before 02-01-1992 and not after 01-01-2004 are eligible to apply.
Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable:
(i) Up to 5 years i.e. up to 35 years for SC/ ST candidates.
(ii) Up to 3 years i.e. up to 33 years for OBC/ MOBC candidates.
(iii) Up to 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD). However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) who fall under the 'Persons with Benchmark Disabilities' category will be eligible for cumulative age relaxation under both their respective categories.

Educational Qualification :
(i) Junior Translator (2,3,4,5) : Master's degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
Or
Master's degree in English from a recognized University with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
Or
Master's degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
Or
Master's degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
Or
Master's degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject or either of the two as the medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level
And
Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa OR Two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in a Central or State Government office including a Government of India undertaking.
(ii) Senior Hindi Translator (1): Master's degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
Or
Master's degree in English from a recognized University with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
Or
Master's degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
