Agnipath Recruitment 2022-23
Agnipath Yojana or Agnipath Scheme is a newly launched scheme of the Government of India for the recruitment of soldiers below the rank of commissioned officers in the three services of the Armed Forces. This scheme was started on 14th June 2022. Agnipath scheme will now be the only mode of recruitment in the armed forces. Personnel recruited under this system are to be called Agniveer, which will be a new military rank. This scheme is going to be implemented from September 2022. Agniveer will serve for a tenure of four years which includes six months of training followed by 3.5 years of posting.

Eligibility Criteria of Agnipath Recruitment
Through this scheme the Government of India is going to recruit 45,000 to 50,000 personnel every year. In September 2022 alone there were plans to enroll 46,000 youth through this scheme.

Indian Air Force Agnipath Recruitment

Age Limit: Candidates born between 29 December 1999 and 29 June 2005 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply for Agniveer Vayu Posts. If a candidate clears all the stages of the selection process, then the upper age limit is 23 years as on the date of enrollment.
Educational qualification:
Science Subject: Candidates must have passed Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from a Board of Education listed as COBSE member with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Or
Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate and Diploma Course in English with 50% marks (OR in Intermediate) / Matric, if English is not a subject in the Diploma Course).
Or
Passed Two Years Professional Course with Non-Vocational Subject. Physics and Mathematics from State Education Boards/Councils listed in COBSE with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational courses (or in Intermediate/Matric, if English is not a subject in vocational course).
Other than Science subjects: Candidates must have passed Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination in any discipline approved by the Central/State Board of Education listed as a COBSE member, with 50% marks in aggregate and English in with 50% marks.
Or
with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course from Boards of Education listed as COBSE members with 50% marks in aggregate and passed in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in vocational course.
Mandatory Medical Standards:
The general medical standards for Agniveer Vayu are as follows:-
# Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cms. Is
# Chest: Minimum extent of expansion: 5 cms
# Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
# Corneal surgery (PRK/ LASIK) is not acceptable. Applicable visual requirements as per Indian Air Force standards.
# Hearing: Candidates should have normal hearing i.e. should be able to hear loud whispers from a distance of 6 meters from each ear separately.
# Dental: Must have healthy gums, a good set of teeth and at least 14 dental points.
# General Health: The candidate should be of normal anatomy without loss of any appendages. He should be free from any active or latent, acute or chronic, medical or surgical disability or infection and skin diseases. The candidate should be physically and mentally fit to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain.

Application Fee: An examination fee of Rs 250/- is to be paid by the candidate while registering for the online examination. Payment can be made using Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking through the payment gateway. The examination fee can also be paid by challan payment in any branch of Axis Bank.
Indian Army Agnipath Recruitment
1. Post Name : Agniveer (General Duty)
Educational Qualification: Passed in class 10th examination with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% marks in each subject.
2. Post Name : Agniveer (Technical) / Agniveer (Technical) (Aviation & Ammunition Examiner)
Educational Qualification: Passed Class 12th Exam in Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with Minimum 50% Marks and 40% in Each Subject.
3. Post Name : Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper (Technical)
Educational Qualification: Passed Class 12th examination in any discipline with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% marks in each subject. English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping is compulsory in class XII.
4. Post Name : Agniveer Tradesman 10th Pass
Educational Qualification: Passed class 10th examination with minimum 33% marks in each subject.
5. Post Name : Agniveer Tradesman 8th Pass
Educational Qualification: Passed Class 8th Exam with Minimum 33% Marks in Each Subject.
Age Limit: Candidates age should not be less than 17 ½ months and not more than 23 years.
Age Relaxation: The one-time upper age limit has been increased from 21 years to 23 years for the recruitment year 2022-23.
