Age-Limit DSE Assam PGT Recruitment 2022:
The Candidates Should Not be less Than 21 Years of Age and Not More Than 38 Years.as on 01/01/2021
Upper Age Relaxation:
(i) 03 years for the candidates belonging to OBC.
(ii) 05 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
(iii) 10 years for the candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped. (Additional 05 years in case of Physically Handicapped belonging to SC, ST & 03 years for OBC category)
Educational Qualification DSE Assam PGT Recruitment 2021 :
Educational Qualification: Post Graduation with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from an institution recognized by National Council for Teacher Education; But the degree obtained from off-campus and distance education institution will not be considered valid.
TET Qualification: The candidate will have to appear and qualify the Higher Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (HS TET) in the relevant cadre by securing a minimum of 60% marks in each paper in case of candidates belonging to the unreserved category by the Govt. 55% marks in each paper in case of ST/OBC and PWD candidates.
Provided that the educational and professional qualifications requisite for the post of Post Graduate Teacher for a period of minimum 15 years for teachers working regularly against the sanctioned post in any Provincial High School / Higher Secondary School, appearing in TET and having qualified and will be awarded a weight-age of 60 marks for their 15 years of continuous teaching experience and those who have appeared and qualified in the TET will receive a TET qualifying mark in lieu of the weight-age assigned to the experience. Provided that any experienced teacher who has not secured minimum qualifying 60 marks in TET but at least 60 marks in respect of his experience shall be awarded if he has already completed 15 years of teaching experience. Any marks obtained by such an experienced teacher in more than 60 qualifying marks in TET will be counted additionally in respect of TET for such teacher for the purpose of selection to the post of postgraduate teacher.
Medium of instruction: In addition to the educational and professional qualifications in accordance with sub-rule (1), the candidate must satisfy the following criteria in respect of the medium of instruction:-
(i) In case of Assamese medium school, the candidate must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Assamese language as one of the subjects OR Diploma in Assamese language issued by Axom Sahitya Sabha or studied up to HSLC level in an Assamese medium school . ,
(ii) in case of Bengali medium school, the candidate must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Bengali language as one of the subjects or in Bengali language issued by Barak Uptyak Bangya Sahitya Sanskriti Sammelan or studied up to HSLC level in Bengali medium should go. School.
(iii) In case of Hindi medium school, candidate must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Hindi language as one of the subjects or studied up to HSLC level in Hindi medium school.
(iv) In case of Bodo Medium School, the candidate should have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Bodo language as one of the subjects or studied up to HSLC level in Bodo Medium School.
(v) In case of an English medium school, the candidate must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with elective English as one of the subjects or must have studied in an English medium school from class XI onwards.
Provided that for recruitment of teacher to teach MIL subject, a candidate who has passed HSLC examination with particular MIL subject shall be considered.
Selection Process DSE Assam PGT Recruitment 2022
Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Assam PGT Teacher Recruitment Process Selection Criteria is based on the following parameters:
# 100 marks on the percentage of marks in MA / MSc. / M.Com Exam.
# 100 marks on the percentage of marks in BA/BSc. / B.Com Exam; (In case of Major/Hons, marks obtained in Major/Hons will be taken into account).
# 100 marks on the percentage of marks in HSS final exam.
# 100 marks on the percentage of marks in BT/B.Ed. examination.
# 100 marks on the percentage of marks in the TET exam or 60 marks for 15 years' experience as a graduate teacher in a Provincial Higher / Higher Secondary School, requisite educational and professional qualification, as the case may be. Any experienced teacher who has not secured minimum qualifying 60 marks in TET but at least 60 marks in respect of his experience will be awarded if he has already completed 15 years of teaching experience. Any marks obtained by such experienced teacher in excess of 60 qualifying marks in TET shall be counted additionally in respect of TET for such teacher for the purpose of selection for the post of postgraduate teacher.
# 10 marks for NCC certificate (10 marks for "C" certificate and 5 marks for "B" certificate)
# 10 points for participating in nationally recognized sports representing Assam.
# 10 marks for achievements in fine arts and cultural activities representing the state officially at the national level.
