1. Name of the Post : Vehicle Mechanic

No. of Posts: 293

Age-Limit : 18 to 27 Years .

Educational Qualification :

# Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent;

# Having mechanic's certificate in Motor Vehicle/Diesel/Heat Engine. OR Certificate of Mechanic in Internal Combustion Engine/ Tractor from Industrial Training Institute or equivalent; OR Passed Defense Trade Certificate from an Army Institution; OR Passed from a similar establishment of Defense or Vehicle Mechanic Class II course prescribed in the Defense Services Regulations, (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) or Office of Records or Centers or similar establishment of Defence.

2. Name of the Post : Multi Skilled Worker Painter

No. of Posts: 33

Age-Limit : 18 to 25 Years.

Educational Qualification : 

# Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent;

# Painter Certificate from Industrial Training Institute / Industrial Trade Certificate / National Council for Training in Vocational Trades / State Council for Vocational Training. OR Passed Class 2 Course for Painting in accordance with Defense Services Regulations, (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from Records/Centers Office or similar establishment of Defence.

# Must have passed the proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by the Border Roads Organization.

# Holding a heavy motor vehicle driving license; OR Passed Class III Course for Driver Plant Mechanical Transport as prescribed in Defense Services Regulations (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) or Center or Office of a similar establishment of Defence.

Upper Age Relaxation:

(i) 03 years for the candidates belonging to OBC.
