Assam Police Commando Recruitment 2021 Vacancy Details :

1. Name of the Post :- Constable AB (Male & Transgender

No. of Post :- 2220 Vacancy.

There will be reservation for OBC/MOBC – 27%, SC- 7%, ST (P)- 10% & ST(H) - 5%. Ten percent (10%) reservation for persons belonging to EWS who are not covered under the scheme of reservation for SCs, STs and OBCs.

2. Name of the Post : Constable (AB) Female 

No. of Post : 180 Posts

There will be reservation for OBC/MOBC – 27%, SC- 7%, ST (P)- 10% & ST(H) - 5%. Ten percent (10%) reservation for persons belonging to EWS who are not covered under the scheme of reservation for SCs, STs and OBCs. 

3. Name of the Post : Constable (AB) Nursing 

No. of Post : 50 Posts

There will be reservation for OBC/MOBC – 27%, SC- 7%, ST (P)- 10% & ST(H) - 5% Ten percent (10%) reservation for persons belonging to EWS who are not covered under the scheme of reservation for SCs, STs and OBCs. 

There will be 5% reservation for sports persons from the total vacancies mentioned above.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

a) Nationality- Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam. 

b) Candidates must register his / her name with a local Employment Exchange of Assam. 

c) Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently. 

Age: 18 to 21 years as on 01-01-2021 (i.e. the candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2003 and on or after 01.01.2000).

Relaxations :Upper age limit will be relaxed for:

(i) 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST(H).

(ii) 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.

(iii) Additional 3 (three) years in respect of National and

International sports person who have represented

India/National Team of the state of Assam at the National or

International level in the discipline recognized by International

Olympic Committee & Indian Olympic Association. This will be

over and above the relaxation age as per Govt. existing policy

Educational Qualification Assam Police Commando Recruitment 2021

i) HSLC or Equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council. 

ii) In addition for the posts of Constable (Nursing), a Nursing Diploma is necessary. 

Physical Standard Test (PST): 

i. Height(Minimum) Male & Transgender Female 

a) General (Male 167cm), and (Female 162 cm)

b) OBC/MOBC/SC (Male 162cm), (Female 157 cm)

c) ST(H)/ST(P)/Gorkha (Male 160.02cm), (Female 152.40 cm).

ii. Chest (Only for male & Transgender) Normal Expanded

a) Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P) etc. , 85 Cm 90 Cm

b) ST(H) 80cm 85cm

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 80 Marks for Male & Transgender and 60 marks for Female:

Male & Transgender Candidates 

(i) 4.8 km Race: Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to 4.8 km race to be completed within 20 minutes. (Qualified Time 20 Minutes and Excellent Time 16 Minutes)

(ii) Long Jump: Minimum 365 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks). (Qualified :11 Foot 9 inch And Excellent :17 Foot 3 inch)

(iii). Chin Up:- . 

For less than 4 chin ups Disqualified 

For 4 chin ups 10 marks  (Qualified)

For 5 chin ups 11 marks 

For 6 chin ups 12 marks 

For 7 chin ups 13 marks 

For 8 chin ups 14 marks 

For 9 chin ups 15 marks 

For 10 chin ups 16 marks 

For 11 chin ups 17 marks 

For 12 chin ups 18 marks 

For 13 chin ups 19 marks 

For 14 chin ups 20 marks (Excellent)

(iv). 100 meter Race. To be completed within 15 seconds.(Qualified Time 15 Sec and Excellent Time 10 Sec)

Female Candidates

(i) 2.8 km Race : Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to 2.8 km. race to be completed within 19 minutes. (Qualified Time 19 Minutes and Excellent Time 15 min 16 Sec)

(ii) Long Jump: Minimum 265 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).(Qualified : 08 Foot 6 inch And Excellent :13 Foot 4 inch)

(iii) 100 meter Race. The race to be completed within 18 seconds. (Qualified Time 18 Sec and Excellent Time 10 Sec)

PSYCHOMETRIC TEST:-

(I) Mental framework to carry out hard work. 

(ii) Adaptability of jungle/ hilly terrain/ ecology. 

(iii) Aptitude/ Attitude measurement.

FINAL MERIT LISTS 

Final results would be based on the marks obtained as follows: 

Male & Transgender Candidates 

a) Marks for PET- Maximum marks 80 

b) Psychometric Test: Maximum marks 20

Total -100 marks 

Female Candidates 

c) Marks for PET- Maximum marks 60 

d) Psychometric Test: Maximum marks 20 

Total -80 marks
