Age-Limit IOCL Recruitment 2021:
The Candidates Should Not be less Than 21 Years of Age and Not More Than 30 Years.
Upper Age Relaxation:
(i) 03 years for the candidates belonging to OBC.
(ii) 05 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
(iii) 10 years for the candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped. (Additional 05 years in case of Physically Handicapped belonging to SC, ST & 03 years for OBC category)

Educational Qualification IOCL Recruitment 2021 :
# The candidate should have been awarded a Master's degree in Chemistry / equivalent subjects from recognized Indian Universities / Institutions.
# Equivalent subjects in M.Sc. Chemistry will include Inorganic / Organic / Analytical / Physical / Applied Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry.
# Any other branch of chemistry eg. Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Toxicology, Geochemistry, Pharmacology, Food Technology etc. will not be considered for eligibility.
# Candidates belonging to General / OBC (NCL) / EWS categories must have secured minimum 60% marks in the qualifying degree examination.
# There is a relaxation of 55% in marks in the qualifying degree for Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) / Benchmark Disabled (PWBD) candidates.
# Only qualifying degree obtained through full time regular course will be considered eligible.
Experience: Minimum 02 years cumulative experience in the following:
# Experience in Testing/R&D/Quality Control in Petroleum/Petro-Chemical/Polymer/Fertilizer Unit Laboratories and/or
# Experience in NABL recognized laboratory. The experience will be considered valid only if the laboratory is recognized with the discipline as "Chemical" in the field of "Testing". The laboratory should have scope under the group: Lubricants/Petroleum and Products. (Subjects like Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Biological, Radiological, NDT etc will not be considered)
# Experience gained after the date of declaration of result of qualifying degree will be considered for counting experience only. Any experience gained after B.Sc. or as a short term apprentice (summer/winter project etc. during MSc) will not be considered for relevant experience.
# Teaching and research experience in an educational institution will not be considered as relevant experience.
Selection Process IOCL Recruitment 2021
# The selection process will consist of written test (two parts of objective type – General Ability and Discipline Knowledge), Group Discussion/Group Work and Personal Interview.
# Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks mentioned below in each stage i.e. Written Test, GD/GT and Personal Interview to be considered for the next stage of the selection process and finally declared suitable for selection.
