Age-Limit IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2021:
The Candidates Should Not be less Than 18 Years of Age and Not More Than 24 Years.
Upper Age Relaxation:
(i) 03 years for the candidates belonging to OBC.
(ii) 05 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
(iii) 10 years for the candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped. (Additional 05 years in case of Physically Handicapped belonging to SC, ST & 03 years for OBC category)
Educational Qualification IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2021 :
# Technician Apprentice-Mechanical: Three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one year duration / 10+2) full time Diploma in any of the following disciplines of Engineering:
i) Mechanical Engineering
ii) Automobile Engineering
# Technician Apprentice-Electrical: Three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one year duration / 10+2) full time Diploma in any of the following disciplines of Engineering:
i) Electrical Engineering
ii) Electrical and Electronics Engineering
# Technician Apprentice-Telecommunication & Instrumentation: Three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one year duration / 10+2) Full time Diploma in any of the following disciplines of Engineering from Govt. Recognized Institute:
i) Electronics and Communication Engineering
ii) Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
iii) Electronics and Radio Communication Engineering
iv) Instrumentation and Control Engineering
v) Instrumentation and Process Control Engineering
vi) Electronics Engineering
# Trade Apprentice (Assistant-HR): Full time Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) from Govt. Recognized Institute/University.
# Trade Apprentice (Accountant): Full time Bachelor Degree (Graduation) in Commerce from Govt. Recognized Institute/University.
# Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentice): Minimum 12th pass (but below graduation).
# Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders): Minimum 12th pass (but not less than Graduate). In addition, candidates must possess a skill certificate of 'Domestic Data Entry Operator' for training of not less than one year issued by a recognized body under the National Skill Qualification Framework or any other authority recognized by the Central Government.
Stipend: The rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month will be as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973/Apprentices Rules 1992 (amended) and guidelines of the Corporation.
How To Apply IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2021 :
Before applying for the above Apprentice Posts, candidates must first register themselves in the online portal of the following agencies of the Govt. of India:
# Technician Apprentices: With the respective Regional Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) in its portal National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) under Ministry of Human Resource Development. Link https://portal.mhrdnats.gov.in/boat/commonRedirect/registermenunew!registermenunew.action.
# Trade Apprentice (Elective Trade): with National Skill Development Council (NSDC) at https://apprenticeshipindia.org/
# After successful registration with the above agencies, a registration number will be generated and the candidate has to mention this registration number while applying for the Apprentice posts in the Indian Oil Pipeline portal at https://plapps.indianoil.in/.
# There are two steps for the registration process. Part-I and Part-II. In Part-I registration, the candidate has to fill his/her basic details like name, category etc and generate his/her password. After successful Part-I registration, system generated registration number is sent to his/her registered email ID/SMS. With this registration number, the candidate has to login to the system again with the password created by him/her. Candidates are advised to remember the Registration Number and Password for future reference/use.
# In Part-II Registration, the candidate has to upload his/her scanned photograph and signature and furnish educational qualification, experience details etc. and submit the same. This is the final submission process and after that candidate cannot change the submitted details. So candidates are advised to carefully submit the details in the portal and check it before final submission.
