Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2021 Vacancy Details :
(1) Name of the Post :- Constable in Armed Cadre of Punjab Police.
Total Post :- 2346 (Two Thousand Forty SiX) Posts
(2) Name of the Post :- Constable in District Cadre of Punjab Police.
Total Post :- 2016 (Two Thousand Sixteen) Posts
Age-Limit Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2021:
The Candidates Should Not be less Than 18 Years of Age and Not More Than 28 Years.
Upper Age Relaxation:
SC/ ST/ BC candidates shall be eligible for relaxation in the upper age limit by 5 years.
Ex-Servicemen shall be given relaxation in the upper age limit by 3 years, plus the number of years of service rendered/ served by them in the Indian Defence Forces.
Serving government employees (State govt. or central govt.) shall be given relaxation in upper age limit by 5 years, but they should not have attained the age of 33 years, as on 1st January 2021.

Educational Qualification Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2021 :
(1) Constable in Armed Cadre of Punjab Police :- (i) 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board of Education university
(ii) In case of Ex-Servicemen the minimum educational qualification will be Matriculation.
(iii) No candidate shall be eligible to appear in the written examination unless he/she has passed the Matriculation examination with Punjabi language or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language (which may be specified by the Government of Punjab from time to time).
(2) Constable in District Cadre of Punjab Police :- (i) 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board of Education university
(ii) In case of Ex-Servicemen the minimum educational qualification will be Matriculation.
(iii) No candidate shall be eligible to appear in the written examination unless he/she has passed the Matriculation examination with Punjabi language or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language (which may be specified by the Government of Punjab from time to time).
Selection Process Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2021 :
The selection process for the post of constable will be based on a written test and physical screening test.
Important Note :-
(i) The written test will be conducted before the Physical Screening Test (PST).
(ii) Only those candidates who qualify the written test (based on cut-off) will be eligible for Physical Screening Test (PST), which will be of qualifying nature. No marks will be awarded for PST, but all candidates will have to pass the prescribed fitness tests/events.
(iii) Merit will be prepared purely on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination.
